a love story based in paris...
At the beginning of the film, the acting felt so unreal. I can't explain it, but it just didn't seem natural then I started to realize that this is what made the entire film that much more real. The black and white is beautiful and romantic, the emotions, the actors, and the AMAZING soundtrack, pull at your heart. Its such a cliche french romance film, or what you would think of one to be like. It's quirky and the ending isn't quite what you would expect. The scenes make me want to wander through the desert in a white flowy chiffon maxi dress with a silk lining and run through the sand with my love. It's so cringeworthy, but once you watch it you see why this movie is for lovers only.
